In an isolated village, traditions are strongly upheld no matter what.

A submission for #Sacritober 2022, heavily inspired off of the short story The Lottery by Shirley Jackson, with scenery inspiration from media such as Silent Hill.

I acknowledge that due to the nature of other entries to this jam, I was worried an art and writing project probably wouldn't be fit for this. But by the time I started questioning it, I felt I was too far in to stop, haha. ^^; Sorry.

I'm so sorry if this is a massive stretch from the initial theme!!! I just get carried away easily, hah.

Since I don't have social media to give approval of this on, I'll just say that if the jam host wants to mention this in a Youtube video, they're more than welcome to. :0c This whole thing was honestly so much fun. I'd definitely love to revisit it, add more and revise the art and especially the text when I have more time. @_@
